When I switched webhosts and migrated my website a few months ago, I never got around to migrating my old photo gallery (powered by Gallery, ka-ching!). Turns out it was a huge pain in the ass – the old gallery was V1.something, the new one was V2 and, long story short, I had to do some tedious time consuming crap to do it, but it’s finally migrated (yay! and there was much rejoicing!)
So now the photo gallery is up, it has 8 albums with 754 photos and some albums have been viewed over 1000 times, which I find kind of amazing. The only crappy thing was that some spamming bastards posted about 500 spams in my comments, so I finally just said screw it and turned comments off in the gallery, which means I lost all the old legitimate comments (sorry everyone who posted comments).
