(BTW, I still have that tape recorder, but it hasn’t worked for over 12 years – I recorded so much with it, the tape heads wore down to the point that you could see the circuitry underneath).
UPDATE 2-9-2016: I acquired another Tascam 38 from Ebay, and I hope that I’ll be able to make one functioning one out of the 2 units, and then bake my old tapes and transfer them to digital, and then release the best songs. I can always dream….
