I noticed a new article in the WordPress Development Blog area of my WP Dashboard about the Change The Web challenge, and it immediately triggered a song in my head “I’d Love To Change The World” by Ten Years After (Alvin Lee is such a badass).
So I thought I’d redo the Hello Dolly plugin to have those lyrics, and maybe even submit it in the challenge (not sure if they’ll even accept it, really) but here it is if anybody wants it:

Installation and Implementation:
Installation is easy: just get it, unzip it, upload it to your plugins directory and activate it from your WordPress plugins admin panel. š
Here are the Ten Years After guys in all their raging flower power glory, I guess you can see where their hearts were at in the song lyrics, criticizing capitalist and socialist greed as they sit in a pretty meadow, probably tripping their balls off on tabs of, oh let’s say Purple Haze from Owsley Stanley:

frank zappa thought highly of him…or did he?
Alvin Lee was once considered the worlds’ fastest guitar player. Who considered him? I don’t know.
Hey Dave! Neat plugin! Glad the Change the Web Challenge inspired you! š
If you remix some ways to take action into it via Social Actions – then you’ll have a bonafied and super fun submission! For example, you could add a feed of actions with the phrase “change the world” – http://search.socialactions.com/actions?q=%22Change+The+World%22&created=all&commit=Search
It would also be our first musical submission – which would rock! (no pun intended)
Best,
Joe
